SportsEngine Registration: Triad Youth Lacrosse Association

2023 TYLA Spring Season

2023 TYLA Spring Season Registration

Our spring program is designed to introduce your child to the great game of lacrosse.  It is for beginners and those players looking to hone their skills.  It teaches solid lacrosse fundamentals in a fun learning environment.  This year your registration fee includes FREE equipment rental for boys, and a TYLA pinnie for all players.  A security deposit is required for rental equipment.

Once registered, your child will play on one of the TYLA teams that will compete against other youth lacrosse teams in the Piedmont Community Lacrosse Association (PCLA).  The PCLA is a league of other youth lacrosse associations in the Triad area.  We do our best to keep players from the same school together.  The only thing better than playing lacrosse, is playing lacrosse with your friends from school.

Our divisions are K-2 (boys and girls), 3-4 grades boys, 5-6 grade boys, 7-8 grade boys, girls elementary (3-5), and girls middle school (6-8).  We play small sided games except for our middle school teams.  They play full sided teams like High School and College.  We may combine our elementary and middle school teams with Deep River in Southwest Guilford to have a complete teams.

Our season will start Saturday, February 25th and end on May 19th.  We will have a spring break of one week.  Teams will practice twice a week during the season and play games on Saturdays.  We will practice at the Leonard Center, or Jefferson Elementary School, both in Greensboro.

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.  Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.  All registrations require a valid USA Lacrosse membership.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa or MasterCard information available.  The cost for the boys is $195.  The cost for girls is $175.

We believe that sportsmanship is the most important lesson that we teach.  By registering your child with TYLA you are agreeing to the Piedmont Triad Community Lacrosse (PCLA) code of conduct.  You and your child are expected to treat, team-mates, coaches, opponents, spectators, and league administrators calmly and with respect.

No weapons are permitted at any TYLA event. The full code of conduct from the PCLA site is available at the link below.

If you want to register a player you will need a free SportsEngine account.  Please SIGN-IN or CREATE AN ACCOUNT.  Once you are signed in please click on CONTINUE below and answer the questions to complete your registration.  Much thanks!
